Disability Parking
To qualify for disability parking, you must have a State of Michigan issued handicap mirror tag or plate registered in your name. You must also be registered for a current semester class.
The SDS office needs a copy of the following items prior to issuing disability parking:
- Proof that you have an issued State of Michigan handicap parking tag or plate
- A copy of your current official class schedule
- WSU-issued OneCard with PID number
- Payment made by a personal check, money order, voucher or a Visa or MasterCard. This office does not accept cash.
You will be allowed to park in designated "staff" areas of the university parking structures and lots. Be sure to use a handicap parking spot.
2005 Parking Fees
The current assigned parking fees per semester are as follows:

Refunds or credits are not given due to missed days. The above amounts do not include final exam period. Please add $2.25 per day.
Lost Tags
If you lose your WSU hang tag, there is a $10 replacement fee. Parking in a handicap spot without your hang tag may result in being issued a ticket, for which you will be responsible.
Renewal
Parking must be renewed at the beginning of each semester. You will receive a renewal form in th mail from the Department of Parking and Transportation Services. Bring your renewal form and a current official class schedule to SDS to receive a hang tag.
