Kathleen Anderson, M.Ed.
Biography
Kathleen Anderson is an Academic Services Officer II/Testing Coordinator in the Student Disability Services. Kathleen received her bachelor's degree in special education from Marygrove College in Detroit, and her master's degree in educational leadership from Wayne State University. Kathleen joined Wayne State University in 2016, after retiring from Detroit Public Schools after 31 years of teaching. Her position at Wayne is as Testing Coordinator with Student Disability Services where she provides academic accommodations for testing, training in assistive technology for students with disabilities, and additional resources.
Kathleen is an ardent supporter of inclusion, accessibility, diversity, and equity, and diligently serves as an advocate for those who need a voice.
