Ashley Hodge, MA, LLPC, NCC (she/her)

Biography

  Ashley is an Academic Affairs Professional who understands the importance of student retention and career development as an important process for college students. She received her B.A. from Michigan State University where she double majored in Psychology and Journalism. Ashley completed her Master’s in College Counseling at Eastern Michigan University. She is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) currently working toward her full licensure. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Ashley is an active member of the American College Counseling Association (ACCA) and the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD). In addition, she has taken additional courses in disability studies and inclusion, career counseling, and college student development. Ashley is excited to be working with SDS. In her role she hopes to help college students identify their strengths, interest, and abilities to enhance their academic and personal goals and how to integrate it into their work.

By utilizing services such as SDS and TRIO programs, students will learn about themselves and how to self-advocate, decision making, evaluating options, and understanding the meaning of their curricular and co-curricular work, and other activities that impact their career process.”
