Biography

Sadfah Shohatee joined Wayne’s Student Disability Services team in 2022 as a Disability Specialist. In her role, she works with the general student body to provide equitable accommodations to enable accessibility to students with disabilities. She is also assigned to two specific populations – those who are visually impaired, and those attending law school. Sadfah graduated from Wayne State University with both her Bachelor of Social Work (2020) and Master of Social Work (2021) degrees, and is a proud Wayne State Warrior. Sadfah is determined to continue promoting and advocating for accessibility in all areas of university life. She is passionate about diversity, equity, and justice for all and will work vigorously to address the needs of her students.

Sadfah has experiences teaching a First-Year Seminar course to freshmen which has given her another amazing avenue to connect with students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, playing musical instruments, and crafting.
