Biography
Denise Rogers serves as the Testing Assistant at Student Disability Services. She is currently completing her degree at Wayne State University majoring in public health with a minor in psychology. Denise began working in SDS in 2017 as a part-time Testing Technician, then later transitioned to the role of Testing Assistant in April of 2022. In this role, Denise supports students with their assigned testing and assistive technology accommodations in the testing center. Prior to working at WSU and returning to finish her degree, Denise spent many years as an office manager and as a passionate and caring parent advocate for students with disabilities in the K-12 learning environment.
Outside of the office, Denise is dedicated to promoting and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all areas of life. She also enjoys time with her family and pets, loves photography, gardening, hiking, and travel.
