The Accessibility Matters Blog

What is the Accessibility Matters Blog?

The Student Disability Services is creating a new spotlight system that works to inform the public about both the issues and achievements that people with disabilities experience. This blog page will serve to bring together different stories and ideas from students, alumni, and faculty that will enhance your understanding of some of the challenges, concerns, and most importantly, successes of people with disabilities. It also serves as a way to expand your vision on philosophies pertaining to self-responsibility, independence, and growth.

What is our purpose?

The main purpose of this blog page is to highlight the challenges, successes, and unique stories of people with disabilities. Check out the most recent blog for a dose of disability awareness, or to find out some of the amazing news going on around campus on disability advocacy!
